Re: North Carolina Regional

Team 401 would like to thank teams 2228 and 2614 for choosing us to be a part of your alliance during the elimination tournament. I really wish we could have gone further, but we had some tough opposition in teams 379, 79, 832. Those were two of the toughest matches we have ever played. You guys played smart!

1519: I really enjoyed getting to know your drivers! It was nice talking strategy with you guys and mingling a bit at the Ice Cream social. My best wishes to you and your team in Atlanta. Say hello to Noel for me! He was quite the inspiration!

1902: I was so excited to be able to run with, as well as against, you guys during qualifications. It was great catching up on the old days of FIRST with your driving coach. He was also extremely supportive of our team during elims. I really wish we could have made the alliance work... Turkey, Bacon and Swiss sounds like one heck of a sandwich!

1086: Out of all the teams at the regional, i was most impressed with your team. All of you students were very supportive of us and showed their gracious professionalism to the extreme. Your team deserves a huge pat on the back. Your driving coach, Mr. Clarke, or as i remember him "Chainsaw" has been the biggest inspiration of all. Mr. Clarke, you and I go way back to the days when you coached me as a driver in 2004! Since then, i have never forgotten what FIRST has given me and i was so thrilled to be able to work with you this past weekend. It was a great feeling to know i will always have your support during the good times and the bad. Trust me, one of these days we will make for an amazing alliance to the end...both on the field of FIRST and on the field of life. YOU are the reason i want to continue my journey with FIRST forever. Best of luck to you and 1086 at nationals this year, i'll be pulling for you guys!
