I run winamp 2.x for two reasons, one, my comp is relativley slow for winamp 3 (I'm just waiting on a heatsink and I'll have my new comp running), and they haven't developed the Shoutcast plugin for 3 yet, and the 2.x Plugin Emulator doesn't like the Shoutcast plugin too much
If I ran linux, I'd use xmms, but the learning curve for me presently, with the amount of time I have is too steep, and it is too hard to find reliable information on how to setup everything. and I don't want to use RedHat or Mandrake.
Once they make a shoutcast plugin for winamp3, that's where I'm at.
