difficulties while installing NI LabView 8.6

I've tried to Install LabView a few times and I always have the same 2 problems:
1. Launching LabView doesn't do anything.
2. When I try to launch "Setup Axis Camera" or "FRC cRIO imaging tool" I get the following error:

anyone knows what I should do?

Re: difficulties while installing NI LabView 8.6

If you are installing from the 2010 FRC software disc, there should be a product list screen where you can choose which products to install. It defaults to everything, but you could check to make sure its installing all of the LabView Package and Required Dependencies, specifically This window also shows descriptions of the components on the bottom (perhaps check the version?).

You may just have to get a new disc. Our team had some issues initially, either with this year's or last year's version, I don't remember, with copies we had gotten from other teams.

Re: difficulties while installing NI LabView 8.6

In the meantime, you could try downloading and installing the LabVIEW 8.6.1 runtime engine.
(It *should* be installed with the rest of the things on the disc, but this may be a workaround for the FRC cRIO imaging tool, in your case.)
