CANJaguar code with synchronization

Hi Gang,

I have a version of the CANJaguar code that does all of the control modes (position, speed, voltage and current) as well as adding the synchronization option to send messages to all of the Jaguars and then activate them all at once. Where should I send this code? I don't have commit privileges on FirstForge to add them to the repository.

I've also set the CANJaguar code up as a library that can simply be linked rather than included as source into your project. Anyone interested in the Makefile I wrote to create the library?

TIA,

Mike

I believe the protocol is that you will be given control of a branch of the mainline project on FIRSTforge, and that will be merged to mainline after enough testing/consensus.

I'll poke the right people to make sure they look here, hopefully they'll contact you soon.

Hi Mike,

That's great work.

The easiest way to contribute at the moment is to create a tracker with the patch attached. I'll evaluate it and apply it. If there are minor things to change to match style or something, I'll do that as part of the merge, or if there is anything major, I'll ask you to make the changes and resubmit.

Thanks!
-Joe

Re: CANJaguar code with synchronization

I've posted the code as an attachment to the CANJaguar tracker at FirstForge.

I hope it's of some use.

Regards,

Mike
