Yes, my original question was more about when (and how) should you say something if you see something that is illegal in your opinion? What is the ethical and proper method for different issues:
- They are non-functional issues (improper labeling on bumpers, Dean signed it, etc...) - They are functional issues (you think someone's ball grabber is illegal) - They are questionable game play issues (guiding balls into the goals from the ball return) - They are non-robot issues (saving seats, over zealous safety captains) Here are some of the ways I've seen it suggested/done: - Try and talk to the team - Report to the lead inspector - Report it to the FTA - Report it to the Lead ref - Come on to CD to discuss the issue Just curious to see how different teams handle these situations and get some feedback on the response they received. Yes, it's a touchy/difficult subject. |
