Bizarre license issue

So today I started up Windriver after a fairly long period of non-use in order to begin the process of teaching the rookie programmers on my team how to use it. However, instead of starting up, it gave me the message:

Could not set up License Management
Details:
The License-Library was not found, licensing disabled
See the logfile for more information!

The bizarre part of this is that it worked all through build season, and just spontaneously quit without any change in configuration. I have tried re-running the latest Windriver update, to no avail. I don't currently have the installation disks, but is there a way to just reinstall it off the internet or something?

Re: Bizarre license issue

They have a rather interesting method of licensing, one thing that might be causing the problem is the date, the licence may expire if the date on your computer changed. Or it might be some environmental variables is causing the problem. I had the same thing, and I still couldn't figure it out...

You can start with Eclipse if you want to teach the new programmers...

Re: Bizarre license issue

Perhaps it has lost the liscense file. If you can figure out where it's supposed to go you can copy it from the install CD. Unfortuately, I doubt the legality of one of us posting a copy for you
