[FTC]: World Championship Statistics

I have calculated the OPR of the robots who made into the eliminations, as well as those who had high scoring abilities.

I used:
OPR = (Alliance Score in Match 1 + Alliance Score in Match 2 + ... + Alliance Score in Match i) / # of matches

This assumes that a team will get an equal amount of good and bad teams as alliance partners.

Avg Win = Total / (# of matches)(2)

Avg Win = 125.818

Edison Eliminations: 2858
Avg Win = 178.625

Franklin Qualifiers: 21225
Avg Win = 120.597

Franklin Eliminations 3037
Avg Win = 189.813

All of this was done on a simplistic (1-9 + - = / * =) calculator in study hall so calculations may not be exact

For use:

* = division (e or f)
# = team number

i.e.

Team 3855 was in edison so:

Or 7 was in Franklin so:

*Note*

Defensive Power ranking calculated by
$dpr = (array_sum($opponentScores) - (129.472*count($opponentScores))) / count($opponentScores);

(129.472 = average points scored per match)

This assumes that a team will get an equal amount of good and bad teams as opponents.

I saw a grand total of one FTC match this year, so I don't know much, but 568 being ranked where they were convinces me OPR was a good tool for FTC this year. Too bad this is their last year. Their school is getting basically shut down by its own management... Long, greedy story.

Anyway, does anyone have any video of these top teams to see how well they correlate performance-wise to OPR?
