**FIRST EMAIL**/We want your input/Upcoming FIRST Women in Science & Technology Forum

Greetings Teams:

We want your input! Please visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RDHRXPY to take a four question survey about the 2011 robot build season. This survey will close at noon on Thursday, July 1st.

We still want your input! The Kit of Parts Survey and the 2010 FRC Season survey close next Wednesday, June 23rd. If your team has not participated yet, this is your last chance. Please encourage your engineering mentor and/or your team captain to visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MDZSLCH and encourage your team leader to visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2010FRCTeamSurvey .

Save the date! The FIRST Women in Science & Technology Forum (FIRST WSTF)is scheduled for Friday, November 5, 2010 at FIRST Place and the University of New Hampshire campus in Manchester, NH. This day-long event for high school girls will feature women in science and technology fields discussing their careers, education, experiences, and advice. College students will share first-hand experiences about the schools they attend.

We encourage all high school girls considering science, math, engineering, and technology-related fields to attend the FIRST WSTF. For those of you who can’t attend in person, FIRST plans to post videos from the forum on our website.

Registration for the FIRST WSTF will open in September. If you’d like to be kept up-to-date as plans are finalized, please send an email to firstplace@usfirst.org.

Update: The email server at FIRST Headquarters was down for most of the day yesterday, 6/17. Today, 6/18, the issue has been resolved and everything is back to normal. We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary interruption may have caused.

Go Teams!
