[OCCRA]: OCCRA 2010 VEXnet TX/RX firmware updates

OCCRA Teams,
I have successfully updated the firmware in the VEXnet transmitters and receivers that we used last year. Here is a partial list of the VEXnet hardware that was returned last year and I updated for use during the 2010 season.

Team 245, Team 51, Team 33, Team 43, Team 255, Team 573, Team 777, Team 802, Team 17, Team 1, Team 9. I also have 2 units that appear to be from Waterford and Roeper but are mismarked.

There is a VEXnet wiki utility that allows one to manually update your own hardware. It requires a male,USB A to A cable. IF you do this yourself, please email me to let me know this has happened successfully.

Another option is to bring your VEXnet transmitter and receiver to the VEX workshop where I can update both units after the workshop.

OCCRA Teams,
The league has made a decision to convert all VEX PIC microcontroller units to the new VEX Cortex microcontroller. As a result, all of the units that have the VEXnet system from last year are being traded in and upgraded to the new system. Most of you have already turned yours in to Terri Kroll of Oakland schools, but just in case you haven't and stumble across last year's VEXnet system at your home school - please turn it in for the upgrade.
