Your efforts in establishing the Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy and D'Penguineers have been recognized within the FIRST community for years. It's great to see your work recognized and rewarded by the MacArthur Foundation. BTW, I'm looking forward to reading "The New Cool" after build-season next year!

I had a chance to hear about some of the great things 1717 did/does, while having many conversations with Amir this year.
They are one of the best teams on the West Coast and the students in their district are very lucky to have him. With all that money at your discretion, maybe a FRC regional trip to HI is in order for 2011.
