Inventor Publisher

Hi Rob,
There is a panel in the Home tab, to the far right, called Publish. The default command is "Video," however the drop-down shows 8 other formats, including Mobile.

This will publish the model to an online space, using your Autodesk Online login. You can access the same space from the iPhone & iPad apps.

Note: The Educational version may not include this; I'll check.

Thanks for the feedback, and your correct, the Educational does not seem to include this option.

Do you think we could have this feature added to the student edition? I see great value for FIRST teams to be able to have their assembly plans on their phones at competition, etc.

To update this topic with the resolution, Autodesk has updated the student version of the Inventor Publisher software to 2011 R1, and now all publish options are available, including to iPhone/iPad.

This will certainly be a useful tool at competition if teams take advantage of it. It will also import Solidworks and CreoElements/Pro (Pro/E) models, so all teams will be able to take advantage of it, not just the teams using Inventor.
