Re: Question on wheel speed sensors
I have built a speed controller so we can go an accurate and constant speed. My dad has built a ramp to control how fast we take off from and we have distance control. so if you combine all those together you could make any type of control you need for your robot. So yeah it's possible. It's a lot of work too. I spent the summer making a speed/distance controller. If you start testing now I bet you could get something done. The one thing we need to add still is a torque controller but that might be a project for another day.
The sensors we use are encoders and maybe we'll use the jaguars this year. |
