Critical Deadlines Approaching:

· TONIGHT, 12/2 @ 8 PM EST- Regional Event Registration closes; Championship Registration closes; Kit & Kickoff Registration closes (in TIMS)

· TOMORROW, 12/3- Payment deadline for Initial Event Registration

· MONDAY, 12/6 @ 11:59 AM EST- Safety Animation Submissions Due (in STIMS)

Surrogate Kit Pickup Option: If a team is unable to pick up its Kit of Parts (KoP) at the Local Kickoff selected, an alternate team may be designated to do so. The team unable to attend must provide FIRST with an authorized Surrogate Kit Pickup letter, signed by the main or alternate contact, on school or sponsor letterhead. Please find a template for the Surrogate Letter here.

All Surrogate Kit Pickup letters must be received at FIRST by January 3rd, 2011.

Running WindRiver Workbench on 64-bit Windows operating systems: Teams should note the version of Workbench provided in the FRC Kit of Parts (2009 – 2011) is not certified for use on 64-bit Windows operating systems. Teams attempting to use Wind River’s Workbench on these systems are likely to run in to issues. We strongly recommend that teams use Workbench on 32-bit Windows operating systems. Please note that this does not apply to LabVIEW or Java. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please post any questions about this to the FIRST Forums (forums.usfirst.org).
