Re: Solid Works Trouble
Hi Kyle
Lets see if I can help you. Something is not right and we can fix this. First of all, I need to know what edition of the SoldWorks license you have. Do you have a serial number? THe serial number you can find under Help, About SolidWorks. There are two licenses you may have: SolidWorks Education Edition - network license; owned by your school; Your school may also have the Student Design Kit where you can use SolidWorks at home. This serial number is tied to your education edition. SolidWorks Student Access - this is what we provide to FIRST teams we sponsor. You receive a DVD and there are multiple activitations - however, this licenses are not networked and expire in 1 year. You do not want to install the student access product over the education edition. The education editon never expires. There are two courses of action: 1. Have your IT admin contact your SolidWorks reseller 2. Have your IT admin send me a private message on cheif delphi Let me help you get this resolved. Marie |
