Breakaway field should have been green

Hello,
In the 2010 game animation, the field was bright green. This made a lot of sense to me, since Breakaway was based on soccer. The green carpet made the field look like grass or turf, adding to the theme, and making the game more intreguing to the crowd.
Despite this, all official fields in the 2010 season were carpeted in gray. Gray was more or less the same carpet color as most of the FRC games in recent years.
I can't see why they didn't make the field green. It wouldn't have decreased visibility, since the average robot was more gray than green. From my knowledge, green carpet isn't significantly more expensive than gray carpet, and there should be models of both colors with similar durability.
My personal opinion is that as awesome as Breakaway was, a green field could have made it that much better aesthetically. I also think the GDC should consider changing the floor color to a more vibrant one like orange or yellow in future FRC games, including, if it's not too late, this year's.
