Have you tried running the code on another computer?
It's an interesting place for a stack overflow to occur. It doesn't seem likely that a problem with the code could cause this error, but have you checked for infinite loops?
1. yes, and the first time i used netbeans for anything other than autocomplete
2. I have no idea, I created a new project from the simplerobottemplate
3. no
4. no, it compiles file, but when I click the green arrow it spews this out.

Unless your user account is really "\***\", I'm not sure what's going on. Have you tried a " clean and build"?

Re: NetBeans download error: StackOverflowError

In NetBeans, right-click on the project (in the upper-left P"Projects" pane), and select "Clean and Build".

Re: NetBeans download error: StackOverflowError

I tried running this on a different computer, and it worked, so it must be this computer. Does the JDK version matter? I had to do a fresh install of JDK 23 on the other computer, so I looked at the JDk version on my computer, and it is 22. not sure if it makes a difference, but I tried updating and it failed.
