That's an interesting way of looking at it. They had to go through some effort to reverse the image, unless they happened to have found/received the image in that state.

Game in which something mid match changes? More than autonomous to oc and oc to finale... something in the oc that changes and you have to account for, field piece transformation? defense offense switches?

This happened in 'Aim High' when the first half of driver controll allowed one team to overload the offense and the second half allowed the other team to overload the offense.

Not out of the question.

But how do you know the GDC reversed the image. Maybe the original was reversed, and the GDC put it back the way it was supposed to be?

it was a red herring, meaning that it was kinda distractor...prolly only a less noticed part (or "aspect) of the image was a "clue"

I think that we have to assume that the picture on the album cover is in the correct orientation. One of the first things that we learned in journalism regarding photos is that you NEVER flip photos, ever. When you flip photos, all of the sudden person X writes with their right hand instead of their left. I think the same is probably true for this situation.


Edit: This seems to be the image that was flipped, in higher quality. The top cuts off at approximately the same spot on both pictures.

Our programers found this picture and IT IS indeed reversed, the GDC is messing with us again this year on this one.

Hmm.. In another FWIW thought, EVA is NASA speak for Extra-Vehicular Activity (i.e., something outside the mother ship). So, the game's name is Loco-Motion and we're expected to do a little EVA to make it happen?
