Re: Team 2064 2011 Website
It would be cool to have the FIRST logo on the website to link to the usfirst.org, its also one of the first things they look for when evaluating the sites for awards. You can always look at the rubric for the website awards at http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FRC/FRC_Documents_and_Updates/2010%20website%20criteria%20section%20of%20team%20 manual.pdf. This will not only make you aware of how your website will be judge for awards, but it will also give you suggestions for how to make your website better.

Some kind of detailed year to year history, pictures of robot/competition, videos of game animation/robot are always nice.

Re: Team 2064 2011 Website
On the "challenges" page, you may want to use lower-resolution images. Even with my 3Mbps DSL, I watched the images load from the top down.
The black text on red background almost gives me a headache, along with the link color on red, but this may be personal preference. This might also be attributed to the font-family, too, but I can't be sure. I would try change the content container's background color and/or changing the text color. |

Re: Team 2064 2011 Website
Always, always, always (generally) use images that are sized at the actual size you are using on the website. This saves on bandwidth and load time and everyone is happier than if you have to download a 2000x2000 image to your computer to view it in a 200x200 space.
