Every team at the Newark, NJ (NJIT) kickoff got an FRSee flyer in their KoP. I emphasized this with the two rookie teams as a way to connect with many veterans right form the start.

Question - would it be "legitimate" (for lack of a better term) to register for FRSee but not use it during build hours? We do not have an internet connection at our build site (the school has blocked Skype on student computer accounts, and the wifi is limited to school-owned computers connected to the school network), but would be interested from helping with questions from home.

I regularly leave our account running when I'm at home, and even assisted a team earlier today. So to answer your question, I guess it could be "legitimate" to leave it running anytime.

Absolutely. FRSee is about team members helping team members. While it was envisioned that this would usually take place from your build site, there is certainly no rule about it. If you can seek or provide help at some other time and place, by all means do so.

Just a reminder that this great resource is here! Don't forget to run the Skype program during your meetings. You never know when you or another team may need help.

Just poking this thread again for those that may not have seen it before build season began. Now is a great time to get signed in to the FRSee collaboration group, as you get into the nitty-gritty of build difficulties, or have great things to show off.

We have several dozen teams in the FRSee community and more joining all the time. FRSee teams, please make it a habit to sign in during all your team work hours, or even from home. We have lots of members, but not as many signed in during evening hours as we would like. Other teams cannot reach you unless you are signed in!
