Is there any restriction for the minibot deployment?

Can we put the minibot at the middle of the pole and then let him going up by its self or we cannot??
because we have been disscusing this idea that maybe we can put the minibot directly on the top of the pole.
I have read the manual and haven't find any restriction. did someone find?

Thanks for a head and sorry if there is a restriction and I have just skipped it.

Go back and read the manual again. It's in there.

Re: Is there any restriction for the minibot deployment?

There is a restriction you can only deploy the minibot below the 18" mark otherwise the tower is deactivated.

Re: Is there any restriction for the minibot deployment?

Make sure to read the glossary in section 1:

DEPLOYMENT LINE – located on the POST, approximately 18 inches above the top surface of the BASE.

Combined with:
<G20> ROBOTS/HOSTBOTS may not contact their own TOWERS above the DEPLOYMENT LINE.
and
<G22> HOSTBOTS may not contact their ALLIANCE’S MINIBOT once it has climbed above the DEPLOYMENT LINE
means no, you cannot.

DEPLOYMENT LINE.
Violation: TOWER is disabled
This being said, you cannot possibly deploy your mini-bot above the deployment line, unless you want your tower to be disabled.

If you are trying to place your mini-bot halfway up the tower, you are contacting it when you have the mini-bot above the deployment line, which goes against this rule. Your tower will be disabled.
