Mini Robot Question

The rules stated that the mini-robot must be 1x1x1 however I was unsure if this meant at the beginning of the match or throughout the entire match.
Does anyone know?

Re: Mini Robot Question

When I went to a workshop on Saturday with judges for the Peachtree Regional, they said that it had to stay within the 12x12x12 cube for the duration of the match. They also said, however, that the rules are sometimes interpreted differently by different judges. In this case, since they don't specify between during play and before play, I would assume the two limits are the same. I don't suggest changing sizes.

Re: Mini Robot Question

Just for further clarification, rule <G41> states MINIBOTS may not exceed a 12” x 12” x 12” volume., and since it doesn't specify a certain time period, I would say that it would have to fit that volume for the entirety of the match.
