Re: pic: 2011 Logomotion Field Simulation
i decided to use the simulator for an experiment.
i disabled the x axis of my left stick to simulate a 6wd drive system. it was not easy to do anything. it was a struggle to aim. consider this test as food for thought on the mechanum vs 6wd debate. try it yourself and see what happens. |

Re: pic: 2011 Logomotion Field Simulation
the discussion i was hearing was pure 6wd.
although the start key minimizes the simulator, it does not allow me to kill it (nothing upon the right click and close method). I still have to use the task manager to kill it. Last edited by ratdude747 : 24-01-2011 at 00:28. |

Re: pic: 2011 Logomotion Field Simulation
I apologize for completely overlooking a kill function, I'll add that in to the next iteration. For now Alt+F4 works fine.
And I think I'd have to remap the keys through scripting for controller-specific (360, PS2 style) applications, and I don't have a controller laying around, so I won't be doing that. Right now I'm trying to integrate an actual robot (one I simply made up) into the game, so hopefully that'll be uploaded shortly. I'm struggling with certain parts of the C# code right now, and slowly getting better. |
