If I make a post tomorrow about treating my students badly for any reason, I fully expect the CD community to come down on me. I wouldn't ask for it to be any other way.

That said, we are starting to get in to a pretty intense squabble here, so let's please move forward with the thread.

I agree completely except for the replacing of the words "because of" with "based on". My post was stupid and rude but in no way does it represent everything I have ever done. And, while my comments must reflect negatively on me I do ask that everyone remember that we all make mistakes and say/do things we regret, please let us move on from this.

In short, thank you for calling me out. I appreciate it and realize that, from time to time, we all need a good smack to make us see when we screwed up and did something we shouldn't have.

Sorry for this, I'll try to do better in the future.
