There is no substitute for an experienced driver. Simbotics had a rather well known 5 year driver (which I joke is the Canadian exchange rate , but CAD is now more valuable than USD ).

I always have found CAD to be more valuable than my USD (at least solid works is)

i defenetly have to duck when im driving im 5' 10" but my other driver is 5' 2" and i think he even has to duck sometimes :$... driveing is defetly the best thing becaus eu actually feel like you can make the diffrence...and u feel lik eur more valuable to the team.

Nope, this isn't true. The most driveteam experience we've had is Brandon Pruniak who was a human player in 2006 and driver from 2007-2009.

although im by no means the shortest person on the team, its often joked on 1089 that i am. so during build season at some point an idea was floated around to have me as part of the drive team to see under. this didnt come to fruition and im glad it didnt but it was still a funny thought. mind you im 5'6" so im not really that short

Both of our drivers are 5' tall. However, the disadvantage is when robots with a tube in their possession stand in front of us, our view is blocked.
