When people come into my house, they normally beeline to the computer and go 'whoa,' 'd00d,' or 'cool.'

I fell asleep while playing quake3 once. 3 day quake-a-thons are hard

If I had another graphics card and hard drive...I would show you people up. I would have a pic of a dual monitor box, my server, and my laptop.

Oh yeah...I had the choice between going to my prom or to the PA robotics challenge. Guess what I picked.

“If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. She's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.”

Define geek......

Geek can be used in a negative or positive context. Most likely when used in a negative context it is referring to our "different" mindsets, hobbies, and long-terms goals. Because our interests are held in technology, science,math... the world around us and beyond us, rather than vainity issues, social issues, and whatever else we are held in a different light. Some may admire us, some may wonder how one person can be so intrigued by a moving green line, pages upon pages of code, equations, understanding the world around us that we cannot even see. We are different, but in our differences we help the world continue to grow, change, become inspired. Different is NOT bad. Be true to your self, be weird, be dorky, be crazy, be a geek.

"What?! You prefer RDRAM?! You sicko!!"

Yeah, I think I'm a geek...
