Our team had a similar idea, maybe not as complex but...
We made a 2 pivot aluminum bar arm that was made to fit our arm operator and using limit switches and a couple potentiometers to control the arm on our robot quite efficiently. Nice job guys, I hope to see more unique teams next year, veering away from just the joysticks. |

Here is another system that works with PC, You would have to figure out the code to control your manipulator device and how much of a delay would be involved when using the device. I am not sure how much time and funding was involve with your device, it is still a great idea, just I believe in not re-inventing the wheel if there's one already out there to use.

As we all know we do not have alot of time during build season, but this could be tested in the off-season.
