If I understand the purpose of this component, it would remove the limit to how many times a swerve with CIMs built into the modules could rotate, which is one of the major pitfalls of that design. To my knowledge, they have one major machining sponsor (Genesis Automation), and the time it would take for them to make the components for a coaxial swerve seems like it would be better spent machining other things.
