Who said anything about 2 CIM drive? That wouldn't be very 2200 like. They did give us access to 6 this year

That gearbox only looks like it can hold 1 CIM.

There was not enough room to fit 3cim's and a shifting piston all on the inside. It was a simple matter of how to make it all fit. With the reduced dimensions of the robot this year, a standard 3/4" bore 1/2" stroke bimba piston was too long to fit we redesigned to use a shorter "flat line" piston.
