EricH was right on with the game pieces. Not shown are two frisbees loaded into the robot to prevent our automated hopper from running. I was thinking of wrapping the whole robot in an Overdrive trackball, but then you wouldn't be able to see all the other cool game pieces.
As Akash pointed out, we do share use of a practice field with 20 at the RPI Tech Park. We practiced together this Saturday so that 20 could prepare for the Championship. Between our Colson drive and our tall arm to block their shots up close we could play strong defense on 20. However, we needed some padding. Since 20 keeps almost all of their robots on display at the field, we just grabbed some game pieces straight out of their 1999 hopper and taped them on. The Logomotion circle took most of the hits.

2006 was my first year in the FIRST family of programs, on an FVC team in Wisconsin. 2791 started in Latham, NY in 2009. How I got from there to here is a long story.
