Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
I love the render, Autodesk always seems to look so nice!
How are your 80/20 pieces attached to each other? I can't see anything in the render but I am assuming that there is some bracket on the inside corners. |

Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
Are you at all concerned about bending your axle shafts during matches? What do you plan to use this for?

Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
It looks like there is some kind of support right next to the wheel that should prevent this (look on the far side).

Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
There are 3/16 aluminum gusset plates on the bottom where the 80/20 pieces connect and two hole corner brackets on the outside part of the double wide pieces of 80/20 that spans the length of the robot.

Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
lopsided98 is correct, there are 3/16 aluminum plates that hold the bearings on both sides of the double wide 80/20. Some are hidden behind the wheels from this point of view.

Re: pic: 3206 Chassis on the Beach
This looks good. The render brings a new meaning to West Coast Drive.
