At the risk of hijacking the thread, I don't know if there really is a secret. We know when we're going to meet, we know what we can do in our shop, and we try to hash out as much as possible over Trello (and a Facebook group chat for the mentors) during the day so we can avoid spinning our wheels. The results may not be utterly dominant (draft status, left to right: last pick, last pick, last pick, backup robot, second-to-last pick), but practiced drivers and knowing our role does a lot for getting the job done.

I don't know if I'd go that far. Stephen Kowski set the schedule when he worked with 2815 in 2009 and 2010, and one of the many things I picked up from him over that time was how to make the most of that. After he graduated, 2815 kept it going the three other years I was a part of their team; when 4901 started, it was natural to keep it that way since our kids were coming from all over town and usually with their parents giving them rides.
