In 2014, they built a pure intake robot - kiss passing, floor loading, human loading, that's all. Performed very well at their regional and off seasons.
This year, they built a bottom stacker with a simple articulated intake and a center bin mechanism (not shown here). Before the Elims of their first event, they added a ramp and their stacking ability went through the roof. At Finger Lakes, they secured the #1 seed by a very wide margin, consistently putting up at least two stacks of six every match. Oftentimes they got up another 3-4 stack as well.
Love this robot and this team. Best of luck in St. Louis.

#5poofs completely rocked qualifications at Finger Lakes, after basically carrying 20 to the finals at the Tech Valley Regional. 2 stacks of 6 capped with noodles from the feeder station consistently plus sometimes a third. They can also do landfill better than most, but their landfill output is maybe half the 2+ stacks they make from the feeder.
They also had a 610-style "crossbow" can grabber at Tech Valley, but they needed the crossbow weight for a ramp to help them dominate Finger Lakes in dramatic fashion.
