Well, at least give credit to Nate on 190 for coming up with the idea, and to me for originally implementing it. It was quite fun, trying to figure out how to use exactly the 30 bags that came in the box. I ended up with the following design:

The original idea was to put them in the upper levels, and I actually found a way to sneak through the VIP area into the media elevator, but I was stopped in the upper balcony by security who apparently saw me walking around from the ground (they threatened to throw me out too). I was a bit peeved at 157 for changing it initially and setting off the rapid fire changes that occured throughour Saturday, although I admit it was fun. At one point, I changed it back to 190, noticed a bag was missing, and by the time I had grabbed a replacement bag, it already read 201. I'm still not sure what happened to all our nice white bags after it changed to 111 (later numbers used translucent bags).

Oh, and I have to give credit to the other guys on 190 for coming up with the creative solution that persisted during finals (although I still want to know where all those bags came from). They almost missed collecting our Controls award while setting it up.

Did someone from my team change it? I didn't even notice. I thought you guys had a great idea with the bags, though all the swapping seemed kinda rude. It did seem to make a fun game for people, though...

We did it as a joke because we know a couple people from the team. They thought was funny and didn't take it as a rude thing to do. But when other teams started doing i can see how it would get annoying.

I thought it was a fantastic idea!! I really didn't know what was going on with it...I thought someone was just changing it periodically to read diff. team numbers just to be supportive of all the teams. Whatever--it was cool

Thanks guys. I was one of the 3 who changed it to 159. It was for a very nice $10, which we then used to buy ice cream. . We were sitting in front of the Curie field. By time it took to run back to our seats, it was already being changed. Very rapid changes. Very amusing though, good job 190

btw, what was the last thing it said? I couldn't see the whole thing because of the field background.

Don't worry 157.. we got the joke A bunch us were sitting right behind you in the stands and we didn't even notice at first.. it was a great idea. It was funny to see everyone racing to write their team numbers (hey, we weren't in the finals, so it was ok).

The last thing written.... a couple of us stayed for the finals while the rest of the team brought our stuff back to the hotel.. we decided to was time to read 190 again, but by the time we got over there, 88 was writing their team number.. they said "Moe told us to do it!" and asked us to leave it there for a while.. so we discussed it and decided to do something even better.. the Reliant Center doesn't know it, but their cleaning staff 'donated' about another 30+ trashbags to our effort..

Our final message: 190 <3 88

After all-- who wouldn't love 88.. they're a great team! And we always have such a good time at competitions with them. I'm still waiting on a picture of that final message

It's probably not exactly what you're looking for, but we captured the last chair sign in the background of our team pictures:

Of course I must include a picture when it read "111"
