To get up the 6" we use our arm. When we push the arm down on the platform the front of our robot lifts up, then we drive forward with our back wheels on the carpet. Once the front wheels catch the platform it drives up there.

oh.. and I've seen that material you have on your wheels and grabber circles in other pictures and was wondering what it was....
