Re: pic: Jeff Wetzels Car

I would also like to mention a few things. You can see some duct tape on the front of his car. This was an uber-technical aerodynamic job performed before the trip to Richmond (the second time he went down). It prevents the hood from shaking and rattling too much, as it has been bent out of shape (and it only catches one of the latches) from one of the accidents. It also tremendously improves the airflow over the car. The passenger side door was slim-jimmed once to get in it. I seem to be the unlucky one, cause I always have to pull the handle more times than anyone else does to get the door open. It is only the handle on the inside that doesn't work on the first pull, but the latch to lock the door from the inside is also broken, so he has to use the key on the outisde (somewhat annoying).

Also...the wheels do look pretty bad. He does have hub-cups, which I believe he should put back on. He has a green one and a blue one and a red one and a yellow one. They match the car and help it look a lot better.

I bet he'll love me for posting all this about his car!

This totally puts my Thunderbird, the Patriot, to shame. While there's a ton of bad pics of me on CD, thankfully there are none of Lady Liberty.

Re: pic: Jeff Wetzels Car

DJ, for the record, is TOTALLY LYING. I was shopping at the Terre Haute Mall during Christmas two years ago and was hit on the side. Shortly thereafter, there was a slight incident involving another car and a guard rail (someone slid, hit me, and then shoved me into the rail).

Well, I definitely needed my car as soon as possible to move back home after my first year at BSU. My dad went to a local junkyard and found two other Thunderbirds, one blue, one white, and put the parts needed onto my car. No time to paint the car, I got it back... with a white hood and two blue fenders on a red car.

Lady Liberty rocks. Long live the Patriot... although it definitely doesn't live up to Jeff's awesome display.

You know Amanda, that picture of the red Thunderbird DJ put up there needs a hood and fenders. We could turn it into a twin of your car!

does anyone else find it slightly sad that there's not almost 3pgs worth of discussion about wetzel's car? and which is actually even more sad since he didn't even start this thread Xp

Re: pic: Jeff Wetzels Car

I think its hysterical

Anyway, at least none of you dented your parents' car while the car wasnt moving....and you were the thing that ran into it, on skates

But it is safe to say that was my ONLY accident....I have never been in a car accident, and I have never been pulled over...and yet everyone complains about my driving

But ::ahem:: back on topic! No talking about my driving! Back to how pretty Wetzel's car is!
