I really loved his announcing. Jim (an engineer on my team) and I had contests in the stands; we each pick a certain word or phrase Sir Charles said alot ("HELLO!", "Baby!", "Going for the Hang!", "All about it!") and count how many times he said it in a match, and the person with the most won. It was great! 
I hope that Sir Charles will emcee next year if Dave Verbrugge can't do it. (seeing as how I'm a little biased to want Dave to do it.)
