As far as I know the hotel people cleaned it up. We took down the field but... yeah... It was a very nice hotel. It was amusing. They wanted to see 'some action' and the robots fighting but they didn't want to robots to touch anything. Especially the huge mirrors that were next to the field or the wood work along the walls...

Since the sand was the only mess we made I think we did an excellent job!

What? they cleaned it up!

They could have charged the people more by offering "beach front" rooms!

True...but yikes!
It's amusing though...as long as they don't get mad..it's their fault 'cause they wanted to see the robot in action!

Wow, that just comes to show ya how FIRST's popularity is growing sooo much that people will do anything to see robots 'in action' !!!

Years ago no hotel would've cleaned up a mess like that as part of the service ... i'd be surprised if they didn't throw you off the hotel!!

But right on, this is truly great ... spreading the message of FIRST -- no matter how hard the task (or therein relatively easy )!
