I expect we will lose at least 1 logo shark by then end of the season, they don't serve any strutural purpose. All the cut pieces are from 1/4" 6061 Al. Battle damage is pretty cool in my opinion.

If someone smashes in the rear bumper, well about 30 seconds or less a new one goes on. If we smash all the spares then ..... No Bumpers. The beauty of making all the parts out of a big plate is that the waterjet makes exact spares at the same time as it makes the originals!
The drive modules are strengthened by the 2" mounting tubes as well as the shafts in the wheels. The 2" tubes are essentially an extension of the tubular chassis. All in all it ends up
very strong yet light.
As for taking a hit, I think 'Sharky's Revenge' is ready for Rock'em Sock'em Robots.
