I like the lathe. It makes it easier to fabricate smaller parts.
On the safety glasses issue, at least wear side shields

Thanks everyone for your concern regarding Safety Glasses. I agree that Safe practices in the work place always need to be our first concern. Our excitement and entertainment with the mini lathe should not have over shadowed our policy regarding safety first. Thanks again for the kind reminder! Ken

we had somthing like this where I worked but it was a Unimat. It was used to clean and resize the ends of small copper tubes for these things called tube lights that people used a long time ago, now we just use fiber optics.
