FYI-
A finding about the Nippon Denso Motors- we used the ND motor as the axis of an articulated arm where the ND gear drives a larger gear in a simple gearbox. However we find that the housing of the axis of the motor is weak and tends to crack through the housing after a while. We remedied the situation with a cleat and a little reinforcement of the shaft so it won't torque so much. Hopefully it will last well enough and after about a thousand trials over the past three days I think we are set. WC ![]() |
