GENERAL
2-speed transmission (mechanical shift) 4x6 wheel drive Weight: 120lbs Measurements: 27 wide x 37¾ long x 28¼ high Ball capacity: 18 balls Center of gravity low and centered with respect to the robot TORQUE: LOW GEAR/STALL: 137.3 ft-lbs LOW GEAR/MAX POWER: 68.67 ft-lbs HIGH GEAR/STALL: 54.92 ft-lbs HIGH GEAR/MAX POWER: 27.47 ft-lbs HORSEPOWER: LOW GEAR @ 2655 RPM: 34.7 hp HIGH GEAR @ 2655 RPM: 13.88 hp SPEED: LOW GEAR @ 5000 RPM: 4.54 ft/sec HIGH GEAR @ 5000 RPM: 11.3 ft/sec SENSORS: Photoelectric sensor tells RC when robot is close enough to wall to release balls. In autonomous mode, robot knows to release balls, during human operation, lights illuminate on the Operator Interface to indicate to the operator that the robot is close enough to release the balls into the goal. The Allen Bradley photoelectric sensors detect when a ball crosses its path, this sends a signal to the RC which then activates the rollers of the ball pick up system to spin. This allows for optimum battery conservation and effective ball retrieval. |
