That metal plate was a 1/4 in thick and you can see one of the holes that a team had ripped into. The other was twice as large and breaking into the center. All this because the "lightning bolt" a team had protruding from the front of the robot was "decorative" and used for the middle goal. The whole match they used it as a spear and drove it into the center of our pneumatics.
