I got to tell you that the chicken made an appearance behind the scenes before he became known to the audience . . .

A lot of us were wearing headsets connected to walkie talkies at Monty Madness. If you've ever worn a walkie talkie headset before, you know that it is sometimes difficult to concentrate on conversations with people right in front of you when someone is talking on the headset. So at one point, I was giving some fairly complex instructions to three volunteers right in front of me when I began to hear some small mournful cries in the headset, getting progressively louder and louder and lasting longer and longer. I got so frazzled after about a minute of this or so that I shouted into my microphone "Whoever the #?@$%! that is, stop screaming into the headsets!". Just then, I glanced over at the scoring table and I saw Sarah and George giggling as Big Mike was squeezing the chicken over a walkie talkie.

All I can say is that chicken played "fowl".

what can i say, the chicken was out of my control.
