I got to UAT (UAT.edu) and they don't have a campus and thus no housing, but instead they rent apartments from apartment complexes that are up to certain specs, and then 4 students live in that.
Specs: 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms Living room washing machine and dryer Also: Swimming pool Tennis Court Fitness/health (like treadmills and weights). It is not a gated Apartment Complex but it is very much closed, it is nice and quiet and me and my room mates won't have a problem with random people walking into the rooms.
