Well,
Here's the story on Northeastern dorm rooms. (and yes... I'm still there  Fifth and final year baby!!!)-Some dorms are really small, ugly, old, and overpriced -Some dorms are really big, new, nice, and way overpriced (4K-ish a semester) -Living off-campus is cool but its nice not having to worry about utilities & grumpy land lords The room in the picture is one of the newer dorms. They are designed to be as elaborate as possible so the school can charge top dollar equalling a price per month of over a thousand dollars, but that's the reality of Boston. This year I chose an economy single... having my OWN bedroom was more important this year than having a pretty wall or central air.
