I think so far this thread is lost in deep weeds.
The most successful FIRST sponsor would be the one that put the most HS students into science and engineering programs at colleges and universities. Four years from now a FIRST trophy will be worth about $12 on ebay. A four year engineering or science degree will have a life-time salary value starting around $2M, way more if you branch out and run your own business. And the contributions to our society and the future of humanity are going to come from people with the best education and the best motivation. Which sponsor has worked toward the goals of FIRST with the most success? Beats me!
