When someone at your University mentions a Segway and manages to get the concept completely wrong. An argument ensues, to which two of you respond "look, I've met the inventor, I know what a Segway is" at which point you realize that you were both on first teams (both UTC teams in fact) and start to go on about championships and regional’s and sponsors...

And your friends can chime in on the discussion, even though they've never even seen a FIRST competition because you talk about it too much.
(We're going to get a team going up here, I have faith. And nerds.)

when your more concerned about the '07 FIRST game then your girlfriend
when every other word out of yur mouth has anything to do with what was in the kit........or what wasnt...........
when you are stuck onn the fact that it was all %$&@@'s fault 2 years after the fact.
when you preach gracious professionalism to the world
when you open up a church of gracious proffessionalism
when you try to get your home state to recognize gracious professionalism as a ligit religion
when you read the first hand book like you read the bible
(all of wich i wish i did)
if your christmass list is more like a team parts list than anything else
if you are the FIRST to have your cell phone signed by WOODIE FLOWERS
(at least thats what he said, and i have it to this day, not only that but i show it off more then i aknowalege the fact MORE then that of my actual meeteing with the president of the united states.)
but finally you know your overdosed on FIRST when you can refer to DAVE LAVERY, DEAN KAMEN, and or WOODIE FLOWERS as your close personal friends, and are doing so in every day life.
