Come on guys, its farily simple really.....that is just their Warp Drive engaging... Think about it, thoes tubes you thought where pneumatic lines are actually plasma conduits and what you thought was battery, is a warp core.....its pretty simple really....that flash is just the result of their robot traveling faster then light in a confined space.
