We used some Armoral on the AM FIRST Wheels for turning use. In the case which the robot is unable to move forward, the wheels would just spin.
There is a lot of axle load, but it equivilates to a lot of torque. If we were to use something like an IFI traction wheel, we would probably need to consider a safety option. We would also have a lot more pushing power however. |
