I have driven this robot, which has Ackerman steering. To me it felt a lot like an RC car.
1519 uses a steering wheel to control their robot. (not sure what 34 is using) I thought it was more intuitive at first, than a tank style robot, but it takes as much practice to get good at it.

Very nice robot!!
I like the blue! I'm really looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
